Royal Holloway University of London, The Emily Wilding Davison Building

Royal Holloway, University of London appointed Faithful+Gould to provide Project Management, Cost Management, Design, Principal Designer and BREEAM consultancy towards an exciting new modern library in the heart of its historic campus. 

The Emily Wilding Davison Building features a stunning 21st century design, selected to complement the Grade I Listed Founders building it overlooks, whilst seamlessly integrating with the mature woodland area adjacent to the building. The state of the art facility operates 24/7 providing extensive library and study facilities to students, staff and visitors including: silent study and group study areas, meeting rooms, a controlled environment exhibition space, 1,150 individual study spaces, controlled environment art archive storage, student services and careers centres, café, shop, seminar room and bank. The building has achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
