Our Nottingham office has completed a £1m refurbishment on managed workspace facilities in the City of Derby. The works on the building, known as Shot Tower, due to its former use for lead shot manufacturing, has created an extra 25 co-working spaces along with seven offices in the city.
The team was procured through the National Scape Asset Management, Surveying and Design Services Framework, and we provided building design and surveying, project management, party wall, CDM-C ,quantity surveying services, concept architecture, structural engineering, building services engineering, flood risk and BREEAM service.
Faithful+Gould utilised their local and most appropriate supply chain to transform the challenges presented into a high specification working environment. The building was structurally unreliable nd the high level of dilapidation contributed to additional work and hence cost, we were able to deliver the additional works within a marginally increased budget.
“Dan, Darren and the team have worked with us to deliver a high level of service throughout the project. This partnership approach has enables us to launch our new exciting virtual business hub and regenerate this part of the city”.
