Faithful+Gould and TIEC have formed a new joint venture - International Energy Assurance (ieAssurance), aimed at meeting the market demand for compliance with the latest industry standards for quality management systems from the American Petroleum Institute (API).

International Energy Assurance (ieAssurance) was formed following months of planning and discussion between Faithful+Gould, TIEC and our parent company, Atkins, who together have recognized the industry need for quality management services and training for compliance and quality assurance standards in the energy industry. This joint venture will service all sectors of industry supply chain, for oil and gas owners, operators, service providers and vendors.

The complementary nature of Faithful+Gould’s and TIEC’s individual expertise will be a driving force in working with energy clients and the industry’s compliance standards.

Jim Grindinger, Faithful+Gould's Program Director

Jim Grindinger, the managing director of the joint venture, said, “We are excited about this opportunity with TIEC to lead the delivery of these important services to the Oil & Gas industry. We recognize that the API Q2 program is expected to transform quality standards in a booming upstream energy market. The complementary nature of Faithful+Gould’s and TIEC’s individual expertise will be a driving force in working with energy clients and the industry’s compliance standards.”

Formation of ieAssurance allows clients to draw on the training, resources and complete range of specialized energy sector compliance skills of both Faithful+Gould, with its energy sector expertise and project assurance service offerings, and TIEC, with its long history of quality compliance and upstream experience.

Ed Durante, TIEC president, said, “TIEC is excited about partnering with Faithful+Gould to bring our service offerings to a new level. Utilizing the combined strengths of each organization we anticipate building the strongest, most comprehensive quality and business management consultancy available to the Oil & Gas industry.
