Construction Intelligence Report: Q1 2020

Max Wilkes
2020 will be another challenging year for the UK economy and especially the construction sector.

For the period 2020 – 22 the average growth within the construction sector is projected to be around 1.6% per annum. This remains below the average that we have been seeing in recent years. Despite these figures’ optimism is returning, with a more positive impact on our departure from the EU anticipated in 2021.

Our UK Construction Intelligence Report for Q1 2020 provides information on the economic and construction outlook, tender price forecasts, and sector focus on commercial property, residential, infrastructure and education.  We also include comment around the future for labour costs, material costs and major package movements and a link to our Global Location Factors cost indices that allows you to compare approximate build costs in global locations.
