BIM is an increasingly important component of the design, construction and management of assets in the global built environment, but adoption of BIM in Asia still lags behind Europe and America.

The 2017 RICS BIM Conference will look at challenges facing early BIM adopters in ASEAN’s emerging economies and provide best practice guidance on embedding BIM enabled work processes in our day-to-day business. Topics covered will include the role of RICS in standardising BIM practices across the globe, best approaches to collating data from multiple sources in collaborative working environments and approaches to establishing an in-house BIM team in your organisation.

Faithful+Gould's representative at the conference is Gavin Moore, a chartered quantity surveyor with extensive international experience in cost and commercial management, project management and lender’s technical advisory. Gavin will be representing Faithful+Gould in discussion with Eugene Seah, senior director - special projects from Surbana Jurong, on the topic of BIM and international standards for the global construction industry.
