Through rigorous and proactive client relationship building, Faithful+Gould has secured a contract with Huawei to deliver their new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The project involves fitting out a grade A office space in Integra Tower to accommodate 262 employees. The  workspace, in circa of 25,000 square foot (sqft), will serve as the new headquarters for Huawei's operations in Malaysia. Additionally, we are also delivering a new 10,000 sqft cafeteria in the clients' office at The Icon.

Our tireless efforts in building client relationships and demonstration of our corporate real estate capability across Asia Pacific has contributed to this success.

In our role as project manager and cost manager, we are working in close collaboration with key decision makers and the client's regional real estate team in China, as well as both building landlords.

Our team is currently in the process of procuring a Design & Build partner while expediting the overall delivery programme by appointing architects to carry out early submissions.

Bala Vijayasingam, Country Head - Malaysia, comments: "Our tireless efforts in building client relationships and demonstration of our corporate real estate capability across Asia Pacific has contributed to this success. Adding Huawei to our portfolio creates new business opportunities with the client in other regions, especially Singapore. As stakeholders from the client management team are based in China, collaboration is crucial in overcoming challenges from a communication and project control perspective."

In the recent past, we have delivered projects within Integra Tower including a 15,000 sqft high-end fit out for FourWinds and a cost feasibility review exercise for American Express.
