As part of a joint venture between Advantage West Midlands and St Modwen Developments, the project is the first stage in the redevelopment of Longbridge and will create up to 10,000 jobs and a sustainable community.

Mike Sivell, project manager at Faithful+Gould commented: "Our informal, tailored approach to project management means we work confidently as an extension of our clients’ teams.

Regenerating Longbridge is a chance to create something positive out of the former plant and our experience and knowledge will undoubtedly mean that the construction work goes to plan."

Work is already underway and is set to be complete at the end of April, 2007.
