The certifications mean that Faithful+Gould currently has more RICS certified BIM managers than any other organisation in the world with Adrian Malone, Jane Foulkes and Shahida Rajabdeen being three of only 15 people to receive the certification.
Adrian presented an overview of the certification and his view of how it contributes to the development of BIM for the industry at the 2014 RICS National BIM Conference. BIM is continuing to dominate processes across the built environment and is widely considered to be the future of the construction industry. However, because BIM is so new, competent individuals with extensive experience in BIM are finding it difficult to demonstrate their abilities to employers and clients.
Faithful+Gould currently has more RICS certified BIM managers than any other organisation in the world...
For this reason, RICS has developed the RICS’ BIM Managers Certificate. The new certification will help to demonstrate to contractors, investors and consultants that the professionals and firms delivering the construction and infrastructure services have the relevant knowledge, expertise and skills to implement BIM at an industry approved level. We pride ourselves on employing highly skilled, qualified and enthusiastic individuals who can offer the most to our clients. With this new certification system in place, our clients can have peace of mind when working with certified BIM Managers, knowing that they are fully capable of fulfilling BIM services.

Jane Foulkes has been involved in one of the first 'early adopter' projects for the Ministry of Justice with HM Young Offenders Institute at Cookham Wood. Jane also contributed to the BIM Protocol document published by the CIC last year, through her involvement with the Govermment BIM Task Group and the Government BIM Protocol Steering Group.
