Faithful+Gould's rapidly growing workload in the Middle East has lead to a new office opening. Recent projects wins entail over $700 million of construction work.

Leading project and cost consultant Faithful+Gould has opened an office in Dubai, adding further to its international network which spans Continental Europe, USA and Asia Pacific.

The company is one of the UK’s most active consultants on the international arena, operating in over 100 countries. The decision to open an office in Dubai reflects a rapidly growing workload in the Middle East where the company has recently won major projects entailing over $700 million of construction work.

Faithful+Gould’s current projects in Dubai include acting as project and construction managers at Jumeirah Lake Towers (which consists of 78 tower blocks set in over 600 acres) and Jumeirah Village (which contains some 7,000 villas and condominiums, two schools, two country clubs and a marina set in 2,000 acres).

Richard Hall managing director commented,  "There is a huge amount of construction being undertaken in Dubai. Most of our current work is in the commercial project sector. However, we see it is offering considerable potential also to utilise our expertise in other areas, notably petrochemicals, oil and gas. We also view Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait as potentially very important markets for us in the future."

Faithful+Gould works for some of the world’s largest companies in the transport, property and industry sectors. Among many other developments, it provided consultancy on the Burj al Arab Hotel in Dubai and, through Faithful+Gould in America, has been appointed as cost manager and reconstruction services provider for the $12 billion Freedom Tower complex being created on the Ground Zero site in New York. The company is very active in Asia Pacific where it is working on a mix of property, infrastructure and industrial projects.
