Faithful+Gould Scores Hat-trick at MEED Quality Awards

Faithful+Gould recently scooped three awards for OCTAL’s petrochemical complex project in Oman.

Faithful+Gould walked away with three awards at the MEED Quality awards ceremony, held in Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi.

Wilfred Asamoah, Oman regional director, brought home the National Oil and Gas Project of the Year Award, Sustainability Project of the Year Award and the GCC Oil and Gas Project of the Year Award for OCTAL’s Petrochemical Complex expansion in Salalah, Oman.

OCTAL appointed Faithful+Gould to provide programme management services and Atkins as the architect. This complex project involved the US$200million development of a class-leading PET plant with two production lines to a specified capacity.

The resulting facility has class leading environmental credentials and will play an important role in Oman’s long-term economic diversification.

The MEED Quality awards are judged by an esteemed panel of industry experts, recognising and celebrating the best achievements in the GCC projects industry.
