The new hospital facility consists of a single multi-story building housing an Ambulatory Care Clinic and a 68-bed hospital, totaling 418,572 square feet with an adjacent parking structure, and central utility plant. The hospital will serve approximately 65,000 patients. The contract includes equipment and move planning, as well as purchasing of medical equipment.
The successful experience of this joint venture on projects overseas, including work at the Camp Zama and the Camp Humphreys clinics, has given our team the expertise and ability to overcome the cultural and logistical challenges associated with working on military projects in Asia.
"With this latest venture, we once again have the 'right' team assembled, both on-site in Korea and in the States, to exceed our customer's expectations."
Scott Lawrence Faithful+Gould Lead Project Manager
Lead Project Manager Scott Lawrence shared, "Winning this award is a direct reflection of our team's recent, extremely successful performance on the Korean Peninsula with a similar project that was completed in September 2017 and the confidence that our customer has in us. Our proven ability to provide IO&T services with superior results has been consistently echoed by our customers, and we are happy to be brought back for this larger hospital project."
He continued, “With this latest venture, we once again have the ’right’ team assembled, both on-site in Korea and in the States, to exceed our customer's expectations. Our team is eager to start this critical and significant project which directly impacts the readiness and healthcare of our military service members and their families throughout South Korea."
In October 2017, Scott relocated to Korea to support this effort, along with Gary Land and Andrea Lester, who will round out the Faithful+Gould team working on-site. Jack Collins, Sara Foster, Tom Abraham, David Bailey and David Simpson along with the Dallas-based IO&T PMO will provide U.S.-based support for the project with periodic travel to Korea.
