Faithful+Gould will provide quantity surveying services in South Wales and the West, the Midlands and Northern Ireland.

The contracts cover capital works and lifecycle replacement works and incorporate an option to include planning supervision and lead consultant duties as well.

BT’s UK property is outsourced to specialist property consultant Telereal which manages the property estate, comprising 6,700 properties totalling 5.5 million m², on behalf of BT.

Niall Sloan, national account director for BT at Faithful+Gould, said: "We have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with BT for the past 18 years and are delighted to have once again retained these three important regional contracts. We have a first class track record and this stood us in good stead in bidding for this work."

BT consists primarily of three lines of business – BT Retail, providing products and services to more than 20m consumers; BT Wholesale, providing network solutions and services in the UK; and BT Global Services, servicing multinational organisations.

Niall Sloan said, "We will be providing support for the full range of operational and non-operational buildings in BT’s property portfolio in these three regions for the next 5 years."
