This latest framework win was secured against fierce competition with Northumbrian Water recognising that the consultancy's services and skills are critical to their future business success. The win further builds on a client relationship which extends back to 1990.
Faithful+Gould will provide pre and post contract cost, audit and benchmarking support services together with programming support.
Answering an advert in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), which was open to applications from all over Europe, Faithful+Gould successfully secured the contract, following a pre-qualification process and a full tender submission.
Dr Colin Price, Northumbrian Water Limited's Technical Director, said: "Selecting a special group of companies to help us deliver our investment programme allows us to guarantee work and quality standards at competitive prices and means we can develop mutually beneficial relationships. It will be particularly welcome in these challenging economic times".
Sean Lynch, director of Faithful+Gould, said: "This is one of the largest programmes Faithful+Gould will be working on and we are delighted to be able to demonstrate our extensive expertise of working within the water industry and continue our long association with Northumbrian Water.
"The main challenge our team faces is to provide an efficient service that will allow Northumbrian Water to deliver their required outputs under the significant efficiency challenge defined by OFWAT. We look forward to utilising our expertise in the field of cost, audit and benchmarking support to enable the programme to run smoothly."
