Faithful+Gould has been retained by Town Center Properties in Miami, Florida to serve as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative on a unique mixed use development to be built in Liberty City.

Faithful+Gould has been retained by Town Center Properties in Miami, Florida to serve as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative on a unique mixed use development to be built in Liberty City, one of Miami’s most economically depressed areas. The first phase of this development, costing $44.5 million dollars will include a 136,000 SF two story building which will be occupied by Florida A&M’s School of Medicine to include classrooms, labs, and a new outpatient clinic for Jackson Memorial Hospital.

In addition, there will also be 80 units of graduate student housing developed over retail space, and a 1,400 car design/build parking deck. Town Center Properties is in discussions with a major pharmaceutical company to build a manufacturing facility adjacent to the park. Future phases of Poinciana include three more office buildings, additional apartment housing, and another parking deck. The project enjoys a broad community and governmental support as a catalyst for re-development of this area of Miami.

The project is being fast tracked and Phase I is scheduled for completion in August of 2006.
