Project Management Congress 2015 "Restructuring Greece: Project - Managing the Challenge"

Tiffany Lewis
Faithful+Gould Regional Director Martin Hirko has been invited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Greece Chapter to speak at their 10th annual Project Management Congress on Thursday 5th November at the King George Hotel, Syntagma Square, Athens.

Currently Greece is at a critical economic juncture, the outcome of which is rather uncertain at this point. What is certain, however, is the fact that, whatever the macroeconomic environment of tomorrow, Greece will still be required to structure its economic fabric across the board in order to overcome failures of the past and avert their repetition in the future.

This large-scale restructuring process requires high-calibre project management of an unprecedented extent and PMI Greece Chapter is dedicating its 10th annual Congress to contribute to this imperative task.

Martin will be speaking at the second session at 16:00 titled ‘Project Management in the Greek public sector’ about his experience of project managing our projects in Greece, using examples from his project Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. In addition to this he will also be taking part in the Q&A session.

Attendants of the PMI Congress are expected to include top executives from both public and private sectors of the Greek economy, a number of senior civil servants, representatives our local clients and Faithful+Gould staff in Greece.
