St Pancras International scooped the ultimate prize at the RICS Awards 2008 - Project of the Year.

The RICS Awards are the annual celebration of built and natural environment projects that demonstrate excellence in the categories; Regeneration, Building Conservation, Community Benefit and Sustainability. The RICS Awards 2008 took place at the Millennium Mayfair in London.

In addition to the 4 main award categories, Project of the Year is awarded to any entry that is judged to have excelled in any (or all) of the main categories. This year St Pancras International scooped the ultimate prize, a project that saw Faithful+Gould provide key consultancy services.

We were commissioned to provide project management services for the fit out of the Eurostar and Border Control Authority areas at St Pancras as well as project management, cost management and safety services for the operational Ebbsfleet International Station.

Work has also commenced on the fit out of Stratford International Station, a key transport hub for the London 2012 Olympics, where we will provide the same services.

In addition to our project management and cost management roles we also provided a refresh of the Whole Life Cost Model for St Pancras, Stratford and Ebbsfleet International stations. Strategic Facilities Management Consultancy services were also provided to help develop an integrated Asset Management Plan incorporating all three stations.

Faithful+Gould is very proud to have been involved in such a successful project and the RICS Awards, which are regarded as the 'Oscars' of the built and natural environment.
