Faithful+Gould, the project and cost management consultant, has received a top national award for its work. The company has been named Quantity Surveying Practice Of The Year in the Builder & Engineer Magazine Awards 2004.

The award is judged on the basis of a range of performance criteria including cost, service delivery, achievement of targets, completion of work to deadlines, specialist services and client communication.

The Quantity Surveyor accolade is one of 11 categories assessed covering a range of construction related disciplines as well as project specific awards for retail, commercial and leisure schemes. The awards, run for the first time in 2004, are now set to become an annual event, with contenders from across the UK industry competing for nomination.

Faithful+Gould has 26 offices around the UK as well as a presence in Continental Europe, USA and Asia Pacific. The company, which has a turnover in excess of £120 million, is active in the transport, property and industry markets, working on many high profile developments around the world.
