2006 IMF World Bank, Singapore

Faithful+Gould was engaged by the Ministry of Finance as project manager to deliver the temporary facilities for the 2006 IMF/World Bank Annual Meeting in Singapore – an event commonly referred to as the 'The Financial Olympics'.

The meetings involved the construction of over 1,000 temporary meeting rooms within the Suntec Singapore Exhibition and Convention Centre for the estimated 16,000 attending delegates for the three day event. Everything was assembled in 35 days and dismantled in nine days. Planning took three years and involved many pre-planning workshops to establish clear, mutually agreed objectives among stakeholders. The project was a huge success, completing within the prescribed budget and was handed over 3 days ahead of schedule in September 2006.

*Project delivered by Confluence, now part of Faithful+Gould.
