British Airways: Heathrow Terminal 3 - CIP Lounges

Faithful+Gould provided the following services for the Commercially Important Passenger (CIP) lounges at Heathrow Terminal 3:

  • Initial cost advice
  • Established project budget
  • Produced procurement strategy
  • Value engineered the developing design
  • Provided cost consultancy support
  • Oversaw the performance and reports of the construction manager
  • Capital allowance advice and analysis

We drew on our extensive experience working for British Airways at Heathrow to produce an appropriate cost plan and budget, along with a successful procurement route for the project. We also helped British Airways in their negotiations with BAA to agree their financial contribution to the requested enhancements to the standard mechanical and electrical systems in lounges at Heathrow Terminal 3. During a period of enormous uncertainty in the airline industry, and at a time when British Airways was reporting record losses, the project was completed within budget, with contingency returned to the client.
