Shangri-La Bengaluru recently opened its doors to the public, offering an impressive 397 rooms; eight food and beverage venues; a health club with a 24-hour gymnasium; salon; CHI The Spa; as well as a 739sqm ballroom with six function rooms; and a business centre.
Standing at 74.4m tall, the 19-storey hotel has the largest inventory of accommodation in the city. It is the first Shangri-La hotel in Bengaluru and the second in India.
Faithful+Gould was appointed by Adarsh Group in May 2013 to deliver the construction phase of this five-star luxury hotel development. The scope of work involved all aspects of the hotel fit out which included management of interiors and MEP works, cost planning, quality, sustainability accreditation, and testing and commissioning of the various systems.
Driven by the team’s collaborative approach and expertise, the project was delivered successfully in close coordination with the client, overcoming various challenges in project timeline, quality, safety and cost overruns.
